Don't you just love it when some Communist who never lived in a Communist country tries explaining how Stalin and Mao were totally great leaders to someone who has been to one and had family who suffered under that?

@gameragodzilla I love being on the receiving end of that especially. That and the comparison of Trump to either of them. Must be nice to simply read about these autocrats and not have any experience to their history beyond the choice words.

@awl It's ironic that Communist propaganda is always more effective with people who don't live in Communist countries.

@gameragodzilla Hell Soviet propaganda all the way up to glasnost was more for foreigners. I don't know how it is in China but most Russians I've known don't really fall for that from any politician. Both are worse, as we say.

@awl True. There were entire fake villages for visiters.
China does the same. They show off their awesome new military equipment and now people are genuinely convinced China is a superpower, something all actual Chinese people laugh at -
