      @bijan I haven't played any of these games or tried them, but, even though TuxMath and TuxTyping would probably be too hard, TuxPaint should be simple drawing fun for a kid of that age: http://tux4kids.alioth.debian.org/tuxpaint.php (Nothing beats clicking stuff and seeing something appear on a screen, especially when young everything dynamic is cool).

      First Report: my Nephew (2.7yrs) find # unattractive, so o mouse for now but under my supervision # did a pretty good job :)
