OK wow. When I was 16 I slipped on a brick wall, fell, and tore a hole in my left shin. I have a distinct scar for as long as I have my leg beneath the knee. Today, my Dad slipped while cleaning the pool. Tearing up his left shin. Back in the 90s, he patched me up and rushed me to urgent care. Today, I was able to repay him in an oddly specific repeat O___O

@scribus Well, not so similar in the end... Turns out he didn't need any stitches. It was just a really, really gnarly scrape! No exposed bone!! :D
