I work in a very Republican town in a very liberal county (the county was 70-30 Biden but I’m pretty sure the town itself was the inverse) and what’s crazy about that is that unlike virtually the rest of northern Virginia, the white moms are the republicans and the very elderly are the liberals. Just had a young woman shoot me a dirty look when I mentioned our staffing shortage being partly caused by historically low unemployment, while the elderly man speaking to me was telling me Texas needs to send all their immigrants up here if they don’t want them.
