In the world we live in, it's best to live with no emotion
Thursday, 27-Sep-12 22:59:59 UTC from StatusNet iPhone- Caim repeated this.
-
@renovatedkitchen It might be, but you never end up doing anything with your life if you don't have any emotions.

@renovatedkitchen true that
-
@renovatedkitchen That is a negative way of looking at it.
-
@techdisk on the contrary, it keeps your mind clear of emotions that hold you back and fog up your thoughts
-
@noirbatch it sure beats caring
-
@renovatedkitchen Good luck with that, but caring has gotten me a lot. If I haven't cared for people. I wouldn't have almost every teacher I've had at my school defending me and my appeal to get back in school, along with all the friends i made here.
-
@noirbatch but if you didn't care and just did everything monotonously, you wouldn't have had any late nights because you wouldn't be bothered by anything, or as you are laying in bed you wouldn't be worrying about a friend an have that keep you awake, therefore never would have needing to go for an appeal
-
@renovatedkitchen Dude, it was more than that. The main problem is I don't apply myself. Don't be like that, seriously ****in stop it.
-
@noirbatch my apologies for making you upset. I did not know the full story in this case
-
@renovatedkitchen That is right. Plus all this negativity coming from your end doesn't help. If you really want to not care about ****. Then leave me out of it. I don't need that.
-
-
@noirbatch bud, I just made a comment on my opinion and you replied to it. I never meant to get anyone upset over saying that.

@abigpony Oppan CMC style?

@renovatedkitchen Doesn't feel good doesn't it? You have done it several times. I stated my opinion, and passionate about it, because If you didn't care about anything. You would be alone. No one supporting you. So if there is something that came up that you needed help with. Who would you call, that's right no one. Caring can be a pain sometimes, but it is well worth it.
-
@noirbatch I acknowledge your view on caring as well. Everyone has their opinion. I've just gone back to understanding that the only one who will be there to support you is yourself. I have gone a mighty long time without complaining or any real socializing. When I'm in trouble, I have to learn to rely on myself to get me out of it. Everyone has their way of coping with things and this is just mine
-
@renovatedkitchen How you word things makes it sound morbid, and depressing. It is okay to be self reliant. Yes all people handle things differently, but sometimes you do need help. you know what **** it. why am I doing this, it is like talking to a wall. Sorry for getting upset.
-
@noirbatch ? O.O
-
@onetruebrony What do you need friend?
-
@renovatedkitchen Why aren't we friends, I feel we should be friends.
-
@noirbatch I have way too many friends
-
@onetruebrony What do you mean?
-
@anarchycarcino because I only have acquaintances.
-
@renovatedkitchen Make some friends :3 Friendship is magic!
-
@renovatedkitchen Ballin'.
-
@renovatedkitchen It would also be extremely, Extremely boring. you might not notice it was boring, but it still would be boring.
-
@techdisk especially if I go into the military, I don't care if its boring. I would rather do the best I could for Canada.
-
@renovatedkitchen IMHO i think being in the military would be at least a little fun. and being happy is an emotion.
-
@techdisk Having the chance of being stabbed or shot or blown up without pay isn't fun AT ALL.
-
@techdisk I don't know if seeing people around you get shot, dropping bombs, killing many people at once and being aware of everything because your life depends on it is fun. Everyone has an opinion though.
-
@nixter Whatchu talking about? you get pay for being in the military. also, Im saying that it could be fun at least some times. some people like that feeling of danger.
-
@renovatedkitchen What about the less depressing millitary jobs? Like, I dunno, the computer people? They only have to avoid getting shot once a month.
-
@techdisk You get paid? Reeally?
-
@renovatedkitchen Hey, im not saying its my choice in life, or that i would like it, im just saying some people like danger.
-
@enchiladatra I'm going airforce.
-
@techdisk I want to give my life a purpose and help around the world to gain that purpose.
-
@renovatedkitchen Don't go to North Africa and you'll be fine. (Just tell me when I'm being insensitive and I'll stop.)
-
@enchiladatra I hope to be deployed. It's why I want to join.
-
@renovatedkitchen And the military is a great place to go to do that. (i think)
-
@renovatedkitchen In all seriousness, you are helping protect your country. I salute you.
-
@techdisk If you want to / help / then you should try a freelancer/mercenary group. There's more possibilities of helping a good cause there than working for a country.
-
@gladosenchilada Those exist?
-
@gladosenchilada Those are legal?
-
@enchiladatra Yes, they do.
-
@gladosenchilada heh, well thats not really the life for me...
-
@nixter Yes and no.
-
@enchiladatra thank you. Glamour and such makes me sick. I'm there for a duty, to help Canada and its allies.
-
@gladosenchilada Like how so.
-
@nixter It's legal under certain circumstances and as long as they serve the interests of the countries they're in. It's basically a grey area of international hypocrisy.
-
@gladosenchilada "You can kill whoever, s'long it's not us." Wow. ffs
-
@renovatedkitchen and as a Canadain, I also salute you. It's something I don't really have the courage to do, joining the military...
-
@techdisk everyone has something in their lives that they would die for.
-
@nixter They're "legal" and used whenever moving a platoon of soldiers from an army would cause political problems. They've been there for as long as politics existed.
-
@renovatedkitchen Personally, i dont really know what mine would be...
-
@gladosenchilada So they a cheap way to not get into trouble?
-
@nixter Yeah man, haven't you ever played "Army of Two"?
-
@nixter Relatively cheap. They're a way to both have things done and acquire an escapegoat.
-
@enchiladatra Oh man, that game...
-
@gladosenchilada Is the Military allowed to equip them or do they have to get their own stuff?
-
@nixter As long as it doesn't show on records.
-
@gladosenchilada "Um, yeeeeaaah we 'lost' a supply crate or two along the way to the camp. Whoops!"
-
@nixter Happens aaall the time.
-
@gladosenchilada What a world we live in, huh?
-
@nixter That's what happens when you have multiple governments and not a single imperium.
-
@gladosenchilada What this world needs is a princess that controls the sun.
-
@gladosenchilada I see your point, and I agree with it.
-
@colfax Indeed. That would solve all our problems. Bribes would stop being a political strategy, to become a way to sleep a couple more hours before sunrise.
-
@nixter Let's conquer the land and wipe it clean of opposition.
-
@gladosenchilada But first we need mercenaries to not get into trouble.
-
@nixter They're necessary only if you care about people knowing. I like to just kill whatever opposes me, so I don't need them.
-
@gladosenchilada But sometimes they have nukes and nukes kill things, things like you.
-
@nixter You don't start a global conquest without first disabling those things. You need to make them either destroy the nukes, or have your people infiltrate nuke control.
-
@gladosenchilada Yeah, like Mercenaries like I said.
-
@gladosenchilada Yeah. That's kind of the basics
-
@nixter No, like double agents.
-
@gladosenchilada Oh...
-
@nixter Guys in important places that actually work for you.
-
@gladosenchilada So do double agents charge more.
-
@nixter In some cases.
-
@gladosenchilada Like how much we talkin' here/
-
@nixter I can't give you numbers. Though it's better if they follow you by ideology instead of money, because that way they're more difficult to bribe.
-
@gladosenchilada True, true.
