"My sheep drowned in midair" was also not a thing I was expecting to say.

@thelastgherkin ...It's probably more amusing trying to figure that out than it ever actually could be.
-
@thelastgherkin Now, if we were talking about Worms, I could almost understand this one, but that would still leave the pigeon corpse as a mystery.
-
@bitshift @eaglehooves On the one hand, explaining would ruin the fun of it being out of context, but on the other hand I like feeling connections with other human beings. I'm conflicted.
-
@thelastgherkin Somehow, I think you just managed to pull off the best of both.
-
@thelastgherkin Take a third option: explain it directly only to those who ask. That way you get some of the benefits of both options. :P
-
@eaglehooves I do good? ^ω^
-
@bitshift Well you wanted to know, so are you asking without asking?
-
@thelastgherkin Truly, I have achieved zen.
-
@thelastgherkin (Also yes.)
-
@bitshift Worms's London theme includes as scenery - among black cabs, pillarboxes, and union flagpoles - a dead pigeon. The sheep was a super sheep that hit the water's surface the instant I activated the super, letting it diffuse harmlessly straight up into the air as though sinking unto oblivion.
-
@thelastgherkin Oh hey, so it was Worms. I astound myself.
-
@thelastgherkin Which version, though?
-
@bitshift God knows. A PS3 one.
-
@bitshift NO.
Bit Shift likes this. -
@thelastgherkin Interesting. I still have a fondness for the first two, but Armageddon remains unbeaten champion of fun, as far as I'm concerned. :)
-
@bitshift Oh my yes.
-
@thelastgherkin Also hellishly hard to get hold of, considering I've long since misplaced my CD. Ah well.
