    1. @ceruleanspark How is that?

      1. @anarchycarcino @yodelerty I dunno. I keep seeing fellow europeans ****ing that america got it first and that it's going to be spoiled for them by the time it comes out on friday.

        1. @ceruleanspark I really only care about the story. This is not a troll post.

          1. @anarchycarcino Spoilers: Events transpire in such a way as to provide a paper thin premise to visit the towns in a specific order.

            1. @ceruleanspark I liked how the game didn't end with the Elite 4. Finally broke pace and it felt like, epic. Like I was really doing something that mattered to Pokemon. Then the post game happened and that feeling was eliminated.

            2. @ceruleanspark I liked that B&W changed up some of the (up until then) assumed set-in-stone patterns of the series, I just wish they'd gone further with that. Still, the story was at least filled out enough that it was only in retrospect that I cared about almost all of the new Pokemon being direct analogues to Gen 1 Pokemon.

        2. @ceruleanspark I don't really get that. I don't remember any Pokemon games coming out the same day in both regions, and yet somehow I managed to play every generation so far perfectly unspoiled without going to any special effort to avoid spoilers.

          1. @bitshift As I recall, until recently, there really wasn't much to spoil.

            1. @anarchycarcino I dunno, B&W had just as much of a story as I've been led to believe B&W2 have, and I still didn't manage to get spoiled for those.

              1. @bitshift Well I mean, in all the other games things happened but it ended with ELITE 4, YOU ARE THE CHAMPION! But Black and White kinda didn't do that so It felt fresh.

                1. @anarchycarcino Gold and Silver broke the pattern too (or rather, existed before the pattern became a pattern proper), since they had "You are the champion! Oh, but there's an entire extra region. Good luck with that!"

                  1. @bitshift But it's all post game, still added up to the same thing.

                    1. @anarchycarcino I dunno, when an entire half of the game world is in the "post-game", I'm not particularly inclined to call it the post-game.

                      1. @bitshift It's post game.

          2. @bitshift It's official nintendo policy that people in different geographical regions are not aware of eachothers existence, so no, the games have never had a unified release.

    2. @ceruleanspark That doesn't even make sense. The Japanese version's been out for months.
