@bronynet yeah, I just logged on a minute ago. Also, how long have you even been a brony? You'd have to had started it in 2010 and I didn't hear a thing about any brony social networking sites before 2011.

@abgpony The site existed in an alternate form before MLP: FiM, and even though I poured most of my life into developing it and adding new features, it never really took off.

@abgpony I relaunched the site (using the existing code) as a haven for Bronies to be able to be themselves and find friends they could trust, and over this past year it's become just that.

@bronynet Interesting story you got there for the site. I gave up as soon as I realized I had my actual name on the public display for it. I just get paranoid that my name is on public display on a pony site. I also don't like the independent sort of layout, which is a reason I don't like facebook and like this place so much. You can see everything by everyone.

@abgpony Well it's super-easy to change a name. Just tell me what you want it changed to and I'll do it! Also, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "independent". And if you're talking about privacy, the only things made public to those who aren't your friends is your name and your current profile picture. That's all. Your posts are only visible to those on your friends list. No confusing privacy settings toggles like on Facebook; those drive me crazy. >_>

@bronynet Exactly. I don't like having posts limited to friends and stuff. I like this place because you can see anything anyone says to anyone and you can choose to see sources and everything. Perhaps just change my name to B. Ward if anything. I probably won't use the place, but to spare you work, I might just keep it so I can occasionally post things on there like music or something. I don't know.

@bronynet It's more just the general layout and the way things are set up. It seems more of a facebook-y kind of thing you got going on over there, which I get enough of on Facebook. If I'm hanging out with people in the community, I like a smaller group of people who just up and talk to everyone about everything and it's just all over the place and etc. etc. It's just not my kind of site, but again, I might just use it to post songs or art of something even though no one will see it.

@abgpony Although I will let you know that a major downside of a roleplaying account is that you won't have access to what is, in my opinion, the best part of the site. Oh well though. I just do my best to make my users happy, and if this is what you want, then it's what I'll give you!
