      @perlstalker i use ERC for IRC into emacs. It's easy.

        @scanepa Auto-join, authentication etc. are things I grasped easier in rcirc.

      OK, I'll take a look at rcirc, too. Even if I did not find ERC so terribly difficult. It's an emacs mode, after all. ;-)
