    1. @pony Because it's really weird. Storing a bootable OS inside a file inside another OS isn't exactly standard practise.

      1. @ceruleanspark :P yeah.. I just wish it would let me archive my ponibooru files properly.

        1. @pony Given that all the files were moved to that other booru, is there even any point in keeping the archive around?

          1. @ceruleanspark I have the complete safe archive whereas derpibooru has only the highly rated images (safe and otherwise). The difference in size between the highly rated and the omplete sets of safe images from ponibooru is quite substantial.. more than 50 GB

          2. @ceruleanspark Wasn't it only the (relative) cream of the crop that they transferred over?

            1. @bitshift Maybe it's just me, but to be honest, that's what I'd rather have? I can't see any value in storing a bunch of bad art on my machine.

              1. @ceruleanspark Well, it really depends on whether you agree with the majority opinion of how bad/good an individual picture is. I honestly think I'd have leaned toward taking that chance to save on space (if my hand hadn't already been forced by not having a torrent client that could handle the unabridged torrents), but I can definitely understand why someone would want to hold onto them, too.
