You know, if coca-cola's formula is such a secret - then im confused why some scientist hasn't just analyzed the ingredients in a lab by now.

@mashuga31 The ingredients are most likely pretty well known amongst soft drink manufacturers. They just aren't used because there's not much point. If you were going to buy a drink that tasted like coke, why would you not just buy coke in the first place.

@ceruleanspark well i mean the actual ingredients in coke are listed on the side of the bottle. As required by the FDA and law. But they supposed 'secret ingredient' is of course publicized as being closely guarded ect. Personally I don't think there is a secret ingredient simply because the law would require them to spill the beans on any product they distribute due to many people's food allergies.

@mashuga31 the secret is battery acid. That's why you get that wonder burning taste after you drink coke... And holes in your stomach.

@mashuga31 its like with chips. The ingredients are potatoes and salt. But each chip tastes diffrent.
