If you had to choose between being 1.) a pegasus that can't fly, 2.) a unicorn that can't use magic, or 3.) an earth pony with a prosthetic leg, which would you choose?

@pony 1. I think wings are kinda pretty and I woul still be able to do more than pony number 3. Also: Scootaloo bonus.

@abigpony when you think about it, you could probably get a magically enhanced prosthesis and basically not be hindered much at all.. but there's no guarantee that such prosthetic devices are available or affordable.

@abigpony but it could be the kind of prsthetic that doesn't do more than just support your body and let you get around, in which case you'd still be crippled, abeit less so.

@pony mmm.. I think I'd choose to be a crippled earth pony since my natural ability to garden, work with animals, etc. would remain intact.

@pony It's only aesthetic in this case, yeah, but I'm honestly not sure, I always kinda enjoyed the idea of a character having to adjust in a major way... an ex-human having to relearn basic things as a pony, or in this case, a unicorn having to live without magic. :p
