  1. GAH i have had it with this TV... it takes 1920x1080x32 @60 Hz and i can give it that fine through HDMI 1.... but after about 1 hour it just cuts out and shows me an Invalid Format Warning....

        1. @unhipdruid Ok, what does HDMI give you. Higher framerate: my TV only runs 60hz and anything higher makes me sick. Cross-device control: I'd rather not have my electronics talk to each other behind my back. And DRM.

          1. @redenchilada HDMI can only do 60 HZ at 1080p 120 HZ is for DVI and Display Port. DRM is a big issue for me too, id rather free will over my content but i only have HDCP when i watch a Bluray disk, and thats never... i can only output Digital on my Computer, 2 X Dual Link DVI, 1 HDMI 1.4 and one Display port.

            1. @unhipdruid ...I thought the high-speed HDMI cables could output higher framerate? They'd need to for 3D, anyway. I use my TV for consoles and my laptop has its own screen, so I'm not forced into HDMI for anything. :/
