    1. @pony Jeez that's gonna get way out of hand. Generally the rule is that a woman must wear the veil in the company of any man which she is not related to (IE: more or less all the time). The extent to which a woman must be veiled is determined by the type of muslim she is.

        1. @pony As with other practises in various other religions, it is never actually outright stated in the qu'ran that a woman must be veiled, it's just a practise that has become a de-facto religious rule without any firm basis in the doctrine.

          1. @ceruleanspark That's understandable. My one visit to a mosque informed me that there's a lot that goes into preserving sexual purity including separate worship services for males and females.
