@rotation I don't recall exact prices, but it's pricier for an e-book than a paperback. Music's cheaper, at least. They caught the net, they live in the now (more or less).

@rotation Good grief, I have no idea... Last newly released album I bought was Blind Guardian's latest, so that suffers a "not popular tax" and I think it was $14.99. Probably would've been $9.99 on iTunes. Aside from that, I rarely manage to get new music. I guess when Alice Cooper's "Welcome 2 My Nightmare" drops I'll have another touchstone.

@scribus I love Blind Guardian! I saw them live in NYC this past November and they were fantastic. Though my friend still owes my $47 for the ticket...

@valdyr I caught them in LA a few years ago, missed them the last time around. Indeed a blast, though. :D The show ended kind of early because the venue had a dance club afterward, but watching the hipsters cringe as the metalheads paraded past was priceless.

@valdyr It started early, too, so we didn't really get screwed. Leaves' Eyes opened, and they had kind of a short set, but I felt that I got more than my money's worth out of Guardian's set.
