This is the first time I've seen a Monster Energy in Canada with the nutrition facts on the can.

@yodelerty they do that now? It might be from the US. A lot of stores import the one from the US
-
@renovatedkitchen I thought so too but the spiel about how great the drink is is also in French.
-
@yodelerty Huh. They must be cracking down on them then. They really arent too healthy for ya
-
@renovatedkitchen Not really but they're so tasty. I am addicted. :(
-
@yodelerty I used to be an addict. All throughout high school and 2 years out of school. Finally quit about 4 months ago. Those things are very addicting
-
@renovatedkitchen I've started drinking one a day when it used to be a couple a week. I should stop. Once the case I have is gone I'll stop drinking them altogether.
-
@yodelerty That would be for the better if you did. I used to do 2-3 a day
-
@yodelerty It costs sooooo much
-
@renovatedkitchen It does, even if they dropped the price from $3.29/can to $2.77/can. I can find better crap to waste my non-existent money on.
-
@yodelerty Thats the spirit. Although, they are tasty
-
@renovatedkitchen Very much so. Dr. Pepper is also really tasty, though, and you get more for your money. Maybe I'll drink that crap.
-
@yodelerty It is the better of two craps to drink. (ALso, its something like 23 flavours in one. Thats a lot of flavours for the dollar)
-
@renovatedkitchen Then it's settled. I will drink Dr. Pepper because it is the best soft drink. Though it'd probably be better if I didn't drink soda at all. One step at a time, though.
-
@yodelerty One step at a time is how I'd do it. Stopping too suddenly causes stress
-
@renovatedkitchen More stress is definitely the last thing I need right now.
-
@yodelerty We all need less of it. I hope things start clearing up for you soon though :(
-
@renovatedkitchen It'll clear up when school's over for the summer. Then I have to get sufficient hours at work so I can go to Everfree NW like I've planned.
-
@yodelerty Everfree NW? Sounds like fun!
-
@renovatedkitchen Yeah, I went last year and really enjoyed myself so I'm trying to save up so I can go this year. I don't have any money right now, though, so who know if I'll even be able to make it.
-
@yodelerty Hopefully though. I'm lucky enough to have a colourful horse convention in Toronto, but its downtown I believe, and the city really sucks. I will still end up going though, probably
-
@renovatedkitchen Colourful horse conventions are fun but usually only if you find someone to go with.
-
@yodelerty My cousin and his girlfriend dragged me into the first convention I went to, and it was pretty fun. So I think this one will probably be good too and we will go together
-
@renovatedkitchen Then it sounds like you'll have a good time. It's always a good time. Wake up with Twilight, etc.
-
@yodelerty It probably will be. I wish it was somewhere out of the city though. Then I could take my car and make a ruckus. RUCKUS
-
@renovatedkitchen Yeah, but it's not likely they'd find a large enough venue outside the city for a convention.
-
@yodelerty Ah, but there is! Same place Anime North was. And that was lots of fun
-
@renovatedkitchen Hmm. Maybe that venue was booked, then. Who knows, though? I really hate conventions downtown. Downtown Calgary sucks.
-
@yodelerty Downtown Calgary isnt too bad. It at least isnt as busy as downtown here. Plus, your public transit system is cooler
-
@yodelerty @renovatedkitchen I meant to say *your public transit system is 20 PERCENT COOLER*
-
@renovatedkitchen There's a few trouble spots I don't like. For example, there's a bridge that, when driving underneath it, the far left and far right lanes get incredibly narrow to the point where my car is almost touching the wall while still barely being in the lane. Also pedestrians are morons who'll cross the street when the light is still red and cars and trains are still coming.
-
@yodelerty Ah. I forgot about the pedestrians. I guess then /visiting/ the Calgary downtown is nice, but to actually drive there is horrible. There is this one spot on the highway I take home from work, where a lane ends while the road is turning. There is plenty of warnings that that happens, yet I always find myself honking and swerving out of the way, because people dont look and think that my lane is theirs. Sometimes I get the bird from those people. Its like, seriously? You nearly sideswipe me because you can't drive to save your life, and then think its my fault? Oh well. I have an ugly car so in the long run, it works out for me.
-
@renovatedkitchen If you're just visiting, any downtown is nice. And everyone is a bad driver. Everyone but you and I. Actually, even me. Blargh.
-
@yodelerty We all have our moments, I will agree, but some people have more bad moments than others
-
@renovatedkitchen I try to minimize my close calls by staying really far back from the guy in front of me and doing extra checks before I switch lanes.
-
@yodelerty Me too. I also like to always have an open side, so in case of emergency, I can veer off safely
-
