@bubbyt20000 Maybe
that guy you hate likes this. -
@pokegherkin Is this url related to RDN in any way? https://rstat.us/?search=%23tommorow. Once and a while some random posts that I post here, reappear there. Word for word!
-
@bubbyt20000 Hmm I wouldn't know probably a virus or a glitch
-
@pokegherkin Would have to be online. It shows up on completely different IP addresses.
-
@bubbyt20000 That happens to my sister's laptop so it probably isn't something to be worried about
-
@pokegherkin Yeah, but part f my address was somehow posted when I never posted it in the first place o.o
-
@pokegherkin I also find it disturbing that such a social network uses, http intead of https.
-
@bubbyt20000 Hmm what brand is your computer and is your Wi-Fi secured
-
@pokegherkin I use verizon wi fi. I sometimes use an android running cupcake and other times I use a Linux PC.
-
@pokegherkin am i a slurpy?..
-
@pokegherkin Wonder what would happen if I deleted all my old dashes before that url last updated?
-
@bluberyblast Yes you are
-
@bubbyt20000 It's not related to RDN. However, since StatusNet (the software RDN uses) implements OStatus, which that site also does, anyone from that site can subscribe to your account here, which will pull your notices to that site to display on their personal timeline (or however they handle it). That's what's causing your notices to appear in their search.
-
@thefirstgherkin Interesting, thanks. Couldnt they simply redash it without subscribing? I don't think I even have any subscribers.
-
@bubbyt20000 Not unless someone else on the network's subscribed and repeated it. That's the very concept of software like SN, sharing posts across sites. It's still credited to your account and links back here.
-
@redenchilada ty for helping me better understand the network system! It all makes sense.
