ugh, I am looking for a game I played somewhere 13 years ago I think. It has the box-art with a friendly furry-like looking creature. and a green angry looking enemy in the background. The words "Warning, may contain DNA" was also on the box-art. The game itself was not an action game at all, but more a 2D god-game in which you observe what your creature(s) do, and one of the first objectives you really have is to find a chemistry set so you ( god ) can mix up some chemicals

@critialcloudkicker No problem. I used to love that game. I had this (norn, I think they were called?) who wouldn't eat because I accidentally hitted it while it was having cheese, and as such the poor beast lived on a drug basis.

@critialcloudkicker the game sounds like Spore, but it was 2008 and isn't 2d, and the cover art is different, but check that game out if you can't find it :)
