@yodelerty Sometimes I link luck to intelligence. If you think about it, maybe they are smarter subconsciously and can think faster. Makes me feel stupider

@yodelerty I don't think that's the best approach. I just think that they are luckier because they can think and everything very quickly, subconsciously. I dunno, to me it makes sense

@yodelerty But say someone could guess the number of lines on a sheet of paper by just glancing at it. Would that be luck or skill?

@renovatedkitchen Not if they're just guessing. If they counted out all the lines really quickly then answered correctly, that's skill. If they glanced at the sheet momentarily and guessed whatever they thought the answer was and got it right, that's luck.

@yodelerty What if they recognized a certain pattern and used it to guess the number of lines more accurately? Would that be a certain combination of skill and luck?
