I open up Facebook chat for the first time in a year and I'm already confused. What's 'more friends'? What's the purpose of that?

@mastertdi It's using some stupid algorithm to encourage you to close your social circles off more. More friends is the "Actually show me all my friends" button.

@ryanjjjj @mastertdi @ceruleanspark Facebook is why I don't use Facebook anymore. Those algorithms pretty much hid me away from everybody

@ceruleanspark, right... it keeps flickering between numbers and it's annoying and I hate it. Is it mandatory?

@neurario, I only use it to talk to friends outside of school, since as far as they know it's the only social network I use. But I turned chat off after I friended all the annoying kids who messaged me constantly.
