@rarity not quite i often find i don't talk much about listening to particular artists, some artists only really have 1 track i like. i like to speak more of genres and spesific tracks, my personal genre faverites would probably be dance, house, hardstyle, nightcore, glitchhop, DnB, and a little Dubstep *rarely*

@rarity its an electronic genre that is pretty much hardstyle but i find is a little bit darker and more fluid for longer mixing on a set. great for night sets ironically

@rarity are you kidding, he matched the beat of EVERY VERSE, he threw in a swing that carried the excitment of the whole song and on top of that added more complexity in the baseline. i don't know what song your listening to but you clearly have a very different definition of "Good"

@rarity I like some of it. I don't go out hunting for it like I used to, but I've built up around 150 or so pony tracks in my playlist. It takes up most of my music collection, but only because I've never bothered to download any mainstream music that I liked.

@redenchilada its a remix, or course he would use the original vocals in it. and the beat is not the same, its in complementary aka similar, but it does have alteration to change the flow without breaking the songs dynamic and rhythm. ya he could change it further but that's just not his style, he works with consistency and i enjoy that, its not all about throwing as many different sounds into one track there needs to be balance!

@ryanjjjj I didn't even imply doing those things was bad, but it's not enough by itself. Repeating the same bass line over and over again and doing nothing else in a song does not good music make. The remix is too sterile. There's nothing special about it.

@ryanjjjj Repetition does benefit music, yeah, but it needs to vary somewhat to keep the listener's interest. The best example I can think of is... the original song. It's still a cohesive whole, but the chorus has a different variation on the sound from the verse, and even the two verses have some variation. You should be able to tell whether a snippet from a song comes from the bridge, chorus, verse, etc. just by listening to the instrumental, and Tomb's Discord remix sounds the exact same in each part.

@redenchilada Alright i will give you that, but at the same time they are similar but not IDENTICAL or at least not in sound. I dunno i like that one, I'm not sure if that's what he was going for or if it was just rushed but i still wouldn't say he RUINED it. Just didn't add that special style that he puts into some of his other works.
