  1. Getting girls is as simple as stop complaining about "them dating only jerks" and having the balls to go and ask them out with confidence, instead of shaking. Start acting like men.

            1. @nerthos So THAT'S what I've been doing wrong!

              1. @yodelerty Bad news pal, you're out of a job. I don't need you to paint my nails ever again.

    2. @nerthos I see you're one for stereotypes then. Is there any reason a girl can't ask a guy out? Also, confidence isn't an easy thing to develop, especially keeping the same person while doing so.

      1. @lordellis I think you're taking me too seriously and going in a "social justice" rant.

        1. @nerthos sorry, I have major confidence issues, and I felt compelled to interject, also, I need somewhere to branch into conversation.

          1. @lordellis Meh, wether or not a girl can ask a guy out (which is in fact a common thing to happen) is irrelevant in a conversation that started from the "girls don't date me because I'm nice and they want jerks" idiocy. Confidence is as simple as understanding the value of pride and arrogance in good measure.

            1. @nerthos I'm not so sure for confidence, understanding something, and applying it are very different things.

              1. @lordellis If you fail to earn confidence naturally, you can aways fool your mind into believing it has confidence. For all practical purposes it's the same. Still the problem is this idea society has in recent times, "it's ok to be weak of mind, people should treat you kindly for that" whilst I understand the value of being kind to people, in the long run that hurts humanity. The "You must be strong or you aren't a man" philosophy, while brutal, at least forces people to try to be strong.

                1. @nerthos I understand people need to grow stronger as they get older, and I've certainly done so, only problem is, as a child I did have the confidence to go make any friends, I approached no one. Some of my friends opened up to me, and I've progressively gain some confidence.

                  1. @lordellis As a kid I didn't even bother, because the kids at school were basically hairless monkeys.

                    1. @nerthos Yeah, I don't know what they were like, I didn't pay attention to them, I was off in my own world.

                        1. @nerthos That's not surprising, thank god I transferred to a private school. I truly prepared me to interact with others.

                          1. @lordellis To be honest, private schools are as riddled with idiots as public ones.

                            1. @nerthos Well, there were idiots, but it had 100 people total in the school, so it was controlled and most people were nice.

                                1. @nerthos I almost never use violence, I did when I was young and played to violent games for my age, but now I only use when pushed to far, which is really damn far, with school and little brother I put up with a lot of crap.

Sunday, 31-Mar-13 23:29:36 UTC from web
                                  1. @lordellis I haven't needed it in a while, but I don't have anything against it.

Sunday, 31-Mar-13 23:32:46 UTC from web
                                    1. @nerthos I am against violence without legitiment cause, self defense or when a point needs to get across.

                                      1. @lordellis For me it is a tool like any other, with the only restriction being not using it too much against good people. They often don't require it, though.

                                        1. @nerthos Ehhhh, I personally don't like it, but as long as permanent harm isn't involved, and you only make your point.

Sunday, 31-Mar-13 23:38:21 UTC from web
                                          1. @lordellis Permanent harm shouldn't be inflicted upon people. Criminals and other vermin are the exception because they aren't people.

                                            1. @nerthos That's debatable, as sometimes bad people can change, I believe criminals should be in their own society, similar to everyone else, except they have curfews and aren't allowed to own weapons.

    5. @snowcone I could easily overpower my teachers at primary school, but that's nt the point. Bad cops are bad cops.
