@widget I don't see how it could affect anything. /We/ have separate logo and banner images, and the image isn't even locked at a fixed height, and the page doesn't look weird when loading unless the logo flat doesn't load. :/

Am I the only one who thinks FiMfiction's habit of adding the logo manually to every banner image is silly? I mean, I get that it saves a bit of page load time before it caches the images, but if a minor change is made to the logo (or even the arrangement of it!) they have to change every banner to compensate. :/

@widget Why would that be an issue? The image loads once and then it's cached (at least, I hope that stuff caches over there!), so connection speed wouldn't be an issue after the first page load. Unless there's something I'm missing here.
