        1. @therainbowdashx No, not actually. There's this nice thing called 'opinions'. They're entitled to theirs, we're allowed to have ours.

              1. # # @flamingpandaomg telling someone "everyone is entitled to their opinions" in an argument often concedes the idea you think they're wrong. Granted, I'm pretty sure Naruto premiered on toonami as I don't know why Naruto would ever be on *adult* swim, but hey my expertise is in the classics

                1. @prettypurpleprincesspublicprincesstimeline I was saying you and the others were entitled to your opinions on Naruto being a bad anime, not the whole 'where did Naruto premiere' because it doesn't really matter. :\

                  1. @flamingpandaomg And, in my opinion, I do think you and the others ARE wrong about Naruto being a bad anime, but that's why it's my opinion. Everyone has their own tastes.

                    1. @flamingpandaomg It's decent IMO. It has some dumb moments and SO MUCH FILLER but there's parts that are really good.

                  2. @flamingpandaomg oh. well, it's an age thing really. By the time Naruto came out, my brother and I have already seen dozens of things just like it. Granted my one friend my age fell hard for Naruto, but he makes up for it by being a rabid Guyver fan. But back to my original point, guys my age have already been drained of our patience and tolerance of seemingly unending shonen stories with very little character-driven action. DBZ, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho (probably one of the better ones tbh), etc. I'm sure there are qualities in Naruto that make it strong for people who see it with a kind of newness, but the dealbreaker that ultimately turned me off on Naruto was the character design. If I have to stare at the same costume designs and characters for 3 seasons or more, I want them to be visually pleasing. The artist for Naruto has come out and said the illogical footwear in Naruto exists solely as an excuse for him (her?) to draw toes. I only have 52 characters left, so banana cream oie.

      1. @therainbowdashx some of us are old enough to remember macross when it was called robotech, and when Gatchaman was called G-Force on toonami and called Battle of the Planets before it was on CN.
