    1. @pokestrike What are you aiming for? Gaming, low budget, laptop?

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:20:08 UTC from web
      1. @nerthos Gaming and laptop, my budget is around 200$-250$

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:22:15 UTC from web
        1. @pokestrike What kind of gaming?

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:22:56 UTC from web
          1. @commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese Enough to play pokémon black 2, with out too much slowdown

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:24:01 UTC from web
        2. @pokestrike Well, with that budget you can probably buy a quarter of a gaming laptop.

          1. @nerthos Well, what I particularly mean is enough to process pokémon black 2 with out too much slowdown

            1. @pokestrike With $250 you can aim for a low budget laptop or an used one. I'd recommend saving some more money before making a puchrase.

              1. @nerthos All I'm looking for is just enough to play pokémon yellow to pokémon black 2, because I want to do a let's play on the entire series

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:28:57 UTC from web
                1. @pokestrike But thing is, it's too little money for a laptop. Unless you manage to get a sweet deal on an used one.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:29:57 UTC from web
                  1. @nerthos Well, I have not an idea how much my budget is, but the only thing I want personally is a laptop, so my budget might be a little higher.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:34:38 UTC from web
                    1. @pokestrike Oh, ok then. You want to run emulators, so you don't really need a gaming rig. Just go with something decent that will last you a couple years; four cores, 4-8GB of ram, and a graphics card.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:36:55 UTC from web
                      1. @nerthos Thanks, I got @vt3c helping me through Skype, and told him What to search for

                        1. @pokestrike No problem man.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:47:21 UTC from web
                          1. @nerthos Yea I found a blue ray playing quad core 4 gb of ram, but I'm still searching

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:50:14 UTC from web
                            1. @pokestrike To be honest blue ray is just a way to spend money unnecesarily. It's not really useful.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:53:09 UTC from web
    2. @vt3c Yea sure

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:23:17 UTC from web
    3. @vt3c They should be able to handle the emulation but if you add all the recording stuff it might get iffy.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:55:54 UTC from web
    4. @widget I don't really see the point of the Blu Ray format. You can easily fit 7 hours of 720p video in a normal DVD.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 07:58:04 UTC from web
    5. @widget Yeah, I know about the whole DRM thing, but I find it stupid none the less, since I used to download anime in high quality and fit 18 episodes per DVD. Legit movies waste lots of space unnecessarily. Also the costs of a blu-ray player when compared to a DVD player...

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:03:49 UTC from web
      1. @nerthos Maybe compared to a DVD player now, but Blu-Ray players have dropped dramatically in price, at least in the United States.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:06:33 UTC from web
        1. @flamingpandaomg Still unnecessary

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:09:14 UTC from web
          1. @nerthos Eh. Personally, if you get a blu-ray player, just get a PS3. You'll get a lot more benefits out of it.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:09:48 UTC from web
            1. @flamingpandaomg Meh, I don't really have an use for one.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:12:09 UTC from web
    6. @widget Two hours of 1080p in mp4 h264 still fit perfectly in a 4GB DVD.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:10:04 UTC from web
    7. @widget I'm not really mad for definition anyway because CRT master race no real pixels. Anything 720p+ just looks real-life nitid.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:11:31 UTC from web
    8. @widget Yes.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:11:41 UTC from web
    9. @widget Fair enough. I'll find a 1080p dolby 5.1 movie with proper cmpression later just to be sure of how much it weights. I'm assuming about 3GB.

Saturday, 15-Jun-13 08:13:55 UTC from web
    10. @widget That's a good way to see it.
