@vt3c 1) Did you just rip it off, or did you make sure to use a pair of tweezers and grab it by it's mouth, because you can rip it off and leave the mouth behind, increasing your changes of lyme disease. 2) Ticks explode if they're really full of blood. It's actually really cool. I'd stick them on a piece of tape and cover it, then light the tape on fire. *snap*

@vt3c It's really funny to do. When my dogs got ticks, my dad used to remoe them, drop them on the ground, pour alcohol, and set them on fire.

I'm trying to learn coding (preferably beginner stuff, maybe C++ later on) and I was wondering if any of you had any books you could recommend.

@pix1e I dunno about books, but codecademy (website) is pretty good at least for introductory stuff.

@vt3c Okay. Next time make sure to use tweezers or something. Their mouths tend to not come with them otherwise, and then it's just a pain to remove it.

@prettychrysalisomg @vt3c My dad always used a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol to get it to back out on its own.
