    Gmail has been giving me some amusing ads lately: craft supplies, Legos, Transformers, online candy stores. Last year, it was all online banking, credit reports, online universities, and useless penny stock newsletters. This is much better.

        @celestiaforequestria I don't see the point of adblock... I just stop visiting sites that have obnoxious flashing/talking/whatever ads. I rarely (if ever) click any of Google's text ads, but they're amusing to read on occasion so I don't mind them.

          @starshine adBlock even cleans up the sites I regularly use. The small, discrete ads that I used to glance over no longer even catch my eye in passing haha
