    1. @coffeecream The Yeti's stand isn't even that big. It's just really heavy because its ceramic.

      1. @theponymancer I bought a floor stand that it screws into. http://ur1.ca/eik0k

        1. @coffeecream Why?

          1. @theponymancer Having the Yeti on the desk had it pick up vibrations on it. But then again the desk I had then was all old and wobbly and this seemed like a good choice at the time. I should try it on the stand it came with just to see.

            1. @coffeecream Unless you have an xbox or the worlds murdocktiest computer desk vibration shouldn't happen.

              1. @theponymancer Trust me on this. Murdocktiest it was.

        2. @coffeecream Secure the floor stand to the ceiling and use it that way. (This idea might actually be plausible, even!)

          1. @redenchilada Bad Idea. Never attach a mic stand to the ceiling. Usually you it to the floor or wall. Not ceiling. ever.

            1. @theponymancer Actually attaching mic stands to the ceiling is a common practice in recording studios

              1. @nerthos Mountable retaining deploy stands, not floor stands or any other type of stand really.
