Oh damn... I didn't even think about where I'm going to put the Blue Yeti stand. Uhhhh. Hm.

@coffeecream The Yeti's stand isn't even that big. It's just really heavy because its ceramic.

@theponymancer I bought a floor stand that it screws into. http://ur1.ca/eik0k

@coffeecream Why?
Wednesday, 03-Jul-13 08:17:21 UTC from web-
@theponymancer Having the Yeti on the desk had it pick up vibrations on it. But then again the desk I had then was all old and wobbly and this seemed like a good choice at the time. I should try it on the stand it came with just to see.

@coffeecream Unless you have an xbox or the worlds murdocktiest computer desk vibration shouldn't happen.

@coffeecream Secure the floor stand to the ceiling and use it that way. (This idea might actually be plausible, even!)

@redenchilada Bad Idea. Never attach a mic stand to the ceiling. Usually you it to the floor or wall. Not ceiling. ever.

@theponymancer Actually attaching mic stands to the ceiling is a common practice in recording studios

@nerthos Mountable retaining deploy stands, not floor stands or any other type of stand really.
