@starshine It's just Sethisto over at EqD filling blog space till season 2. Hasbro's been quiet on a DVD release as far as I know.

@eaglehooves I really hope the DVDs that they hinted at a while back are actually a Blu-Ray, and not the two-episode nonsense that's in stores now.

@starshine I hope it's a full season release in both DVD and Blu-Ray. I don't have a Blu-Ray player, so DVD is still my mane concern.

@eaglehooves Totally understandable. To be honest, I don't even watch much of anything, but I want Blu-Ray just in sheer principle that if I bought a DVD, I'd be paying money for worse quality than what I could get either on YouTube or already downloaded to my hard drive.

@starshine I've got the entire first season downloaded in 1080p. Anything I buy would be for the features and collectability more than the actual episode quality. I'd wait a few seasons and get a box set if I knew that would be an option.

@eaglehooves keep in mind that the more money Hasbro receives from their My Little Pony line, the less likely they are to cancel the show. that is why I will buy a dvd, no matter the price.

@eaglehooves does anyone know if the shirts that they have at Hot Topic are official? as in, would the money go to Hasbro? because, as much as I hate Corporate greed, I REALLY want them to make money off of this series, so they will make more seasons

@nightwillow I can't find any referance to Hasbro either on the Hot Topic site or the T-shirt company's site, so I don't know. @nightwillow It's $19 US, the store is set to Canadian dollars by default. That's a bit steep, but not unbearable, for that shirt I'd save a few bucks here and there to put towards it. It's the shipping that's kept me from buying it. For now I'm sticking with the toys, which I can get local and keep Hasbro happy.
