... Why is it so hard to give me system specifications on a Compaq Pressario R3345EA model ? I want to know what processor is in it alright, without having to resort going to the bios ( the thing is busy transfering a lot of data right now )

@ecmc that would work. Sadly this computer is running a very outdated Ubuntu. I want to check what sort of Intel 2.8 GHZ Pentium 4 processor it is running on so I know what version of Xubuntu to throw on it
