        @fang The Huntsclan clearly has a great amount of influence in the city, as seen in one of Rose's memories when the hospital staff straight up let the Huntsman walk in and start taking babies from them. All they would have to do is say that Jake did something horribly illegal, and bam. Their number one threat vanquished.
