          1. @rarity I should just have had a Platinum Angel: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=206329

            1. @ceruleansquawk In my opinion, that card is overrated. But I don't really play much.

              1. @rarity I meant just from a perspective of having the "countdown" go into insane minus figures.

                1. @ceruleansquawk wait, that happens? I've never actually played anyone who uses that card. I assumed it just stopped at zero. So what happens when the card leaves play and one guy is -10 and the other is -13?

Sunday, 28-Jul-13 13:49:40 UTC from web
                  1. @rarity Unless you're both fielding it, that can't happen. It only prevents the player who cast it from losing the game. If they're on -50 and you nail Platinum Angel with Swords to Plowshares or something, they lose immediately. If you both have one, whoever removes the other guys first wins.

                    1. @ceruleansquawk OOPS, I misread it as "nobody can win" somehow. My bad

                      1. @rarity If I set up an knockoff MTG server, would you be interested in picking it up again?

Sunday, 28-Jul-13 13:58:53 UTC from web
                        1. @ceruleansquawk I assume by "knockoff", you mean "you can have literally all the cards"? Because if so, hell yeah!

Sunday, 28-Jul-13 14:00:51 UTC from web
                          1. @rarity Yeah. The software is called Cockatrice and it just handles simulating the table.
