               @justsomeloser Defiance is pretty fun. It's an open world, 3rd person shooter with no level up system, but rather a rating system.

                     @justsomeloser The thing I like the most about Defiance is that it's very simple to play. It's not like WoW or Eve Online where it takes being a rocket scientist know it all to enjoy the game.

                                 @nerthos I played WoW when it first came out and all the way up to the Lynch King expansion. Then I got really bored of the game because it was pretty much the same generic thing over and over. I wanted something different.

                  @huggablysoft @justsomeloser If you're sick and tired of those generic World of Warcraft-like/Guild Wars-like MMO's, this is definitely a different but fresh take on the genre. It replaces point and click combat with familiar first person shooter style controls and weapons.

                        @justsomeloser I preferred Guild Wars over WoW mainly because it was a lot easier to pick up and wasn't as time consuming to level up your character or get nice items.

                              @justsomeloser Defiance is a lot different. If you're familiar with Halo's player rating system and Call of Duty's ability perk system, Defiance's character development system is like both of those smashed together. It makes the game a lot more fair in PvP and more focused on the actual skills of the person behind the controller rather than how high the level of your character and weapons are.
