@northernnarwhal It's fine for your case, it's your choice to have fun and set back a little. But unlike me who has to live his life by struggling to my parent's expectations. Respect is enough reward for me and my work.

@beatstrings Hey man, my parents have expectations for me too. It doesn't help having an exceptional older brother either in my case. I just figure I should find my own path. Also, being the cynical misanthrope that I am, I figure the greatest kind of respect is self respect, since without it you can't expect anyone else to respect you.

@northernnarwhal Ah, love to hear the old basics of fundamentals from other people. But yeah, just have your own path, I'm just making my promise to help my parent with my younger brothers and sisters. Since I'm the eldest, other than that, I know what I'm suppose to return for my parent's hard work.

@beatstrings Don't get me wrong, I love my parents. I'm just bipolar, and I like to spend lots of time on my own, especially taking walks and listening to/playing music (specifically drums, but I occasionally play piano as well, and I'm hoping to pick up the guitar in the future).

@awwwlyra Horrible week today. But I lived it out, class president by snap election. I'm going to lead a class play. Practices in the rock band. Plus art, lots and lots of obligations that includes art.
