@rarity Except it COULD be so much more. The writers don't (Or rather didn't) watch anime so the lead animator gave them the bottom of the barrel Shounen to watch and they're just filling it with tropes from that. The Trailers were incredibly misleading as well, there's been one fight scene. Ten episodes.

@rarity That's the point! It should just be a bunch of good looking fight scenes glued together with a thin story. Not this slice of life high school bull mango.

@anarchycarcino Come to think of it the adverts were rather misleading. Huh. Guess I just don't have other anime to compare it too so I didn't think it was all that bad. Animation is wonky though to say the least.

@awlpony That's another thing, it's a cartoon. If it's not made in Japan it's not an anime. That's just not how it works. If they drew something in a Western style (Which they have.) it's still anime.

@anarchycarcino So, it's not a good place to start... I shall start elsewhere with anime then, even though I'm up to date on it thus far. I was reluctant to even call it anime but the style suggests it to me.

@fuzzypony Reminds me of the last party I went to. Got drunk as FrankerZ, got a fight going, got the cops called on us and the most memorable part was the pizza bagels.

@anarchycarcino If it's a dressing sword, it's a proper way to use it. They're pretty similar to rapiers but they're efficient slashing swords.

@fuzzypony I have been yes. Last time I was stone cold drunk was a couple months ago, and that was very controlled. I had stopped 3 years ago? Outside of a few beers, a cup of ale, brandy or wine here and there.
