@clayinthecarpet Mainly to survive... I'm stuck in a homeless shelter right now and doing everything I can to bet the hell out... I have food stamps but you can't buy soap, shampoo, or a new pair of winter boots on food stamps... hell, you can't even buy a decent hot meal with them, but I can get all the soda and junk food I want... how's that for beaurocratic common sense?

@colfax It's not that I wish to shred your dignity. I haven't known you for even a solid week. I don't even know your name. Who is to say you're not lying through your teeth? I'm pretty weary of online personas after being on the internet for damn near 14 years and I just don't hand out free money based on some lines of text I read in a chat room. I apologize for the level of frankness here, but I hope you can understand my position.

@clayinthecarpet I know exactly what you mean, and if have any doubts your best course is to just do nothing... personally, it galls me that I have to beg for money from what amounts to complete strangers online, but if my choices are that and starving while sleeping in a parking garage in winter... well, you can do the math there.
