  1. This # session was awesome! We had an exciting chase on carriages and then a very challenging fight against a vampire assassin that was way too strong for our group. But we fought valliantly and we defeated him almost. He could flee in the last moment. My mage used a daily action to make a few enemies helpless and the friend's fighter clashed 4 critical hits in a row due to the coup de grace.

    1. @broniebrown I wanna D&D! We had some fun sessions, mostly involving our gnome getting kidnapped. Couldn't take our eyes off him for a second...

      1. @communistprime Sounds funny ^^ My character is almost always almost dead. My mage has very few hitpoints. And my mage is the only ritual caster that has the raise dead ritual. But my DnD party gets often in trouble because "Vigo, the fastest blade master in the Nentir Vale" is too boasting and proud of himself.

        1. @broniebrown I'm usually the cleric, so I'm on medic/off-tank/off-dps/diplomat/only rational character in the group

          1. @communistprime My character is clumsy because I set off usually a lot of traps by accident and it's the only one with high wisdom and intelligence stats. So I am responsible for almost all checks. And for some reason I'm the only one with acceptable perception. So my group is practically blind.

            1. @broniebrown I don't play a lot, but I have a serious fear of traps ever since I triggered one opening a chest, and my party's main concern was lifting it high enough to get it over my unconscious body and out of the building. 20 turns later when I came to I had some serious questions about their priorities.

              1. @eaglehooves One time I was searching a book shelf for some information about a house of necromants in their own library when our group was sneaking into. But one book set off a little alarm and we had to fight against ghosts.

                1. @broniebrown I've never set off anything too bad, it's just that my party always is more concerned about the loot than keeping me alive, even though I'm usually the only one who can heal. They've actually stooped as low as trying to loot me while I was still alive.

                  1. @eaglehooves That's sad. We play for about 1 1/2 years Dungeons and Dragons and we have some experience how to survive. We wouldn't let anybody die without a really good reason. Like the whole group would die trying to revive. At least there is the raise dead ritual but it has nasty side effects. You have for one level -1 on all checks and attacks.

                    1. @broniebrown It's a great group, but we play a bit fast and loose with the rules, and when it gets late some people get a bit silly. Usually one of these crazy scenarios happens after I tell our DPS guy with no self control (he burned down an entire inn in a barfight over some ale, he punched the door off a random house and looted it, he has no idea of collateral damage) that something isn't a good idea and he gets annoyed, usually it gets sorted out before it gets real ugly.

                      1. @eaglehooves Oh dear! I'm happy that our group has members with neutral and good alignments.

                        1. @broniebrown He's as chaotic as they come, but he's good in a fight. Interestingly, I play Halo with him and he has a thing for collateral damage there as well. My buddies have a rule he isn't allowed near splash damage weapons if we can help it.
