@theowl Check out the paper-craft ponies on Deviant Art. Plushies are pretty expensive to make, but you could make a prototype or two to get the hang of it and an idea of where to best get the materials, advertise, ... PROFIT! The foam chunks in a sofa can be carved with an electric bread knife. The stuffing and outside need to be clean and safe, but it is really just like making a bean bag. Ooh. Beany-ponies! Find cheap, plastic beads and make them out of sack-cloth. Maybe, plastic shopping bags can be used as stuffing and even an exterior like Macrame or whatever.

@fnordly I'll look into that! I get a buttload of money in October, and season 2 should be on by then, which will probably drive up demand for new characters.
