  1. @zine @critialcloudkicker The website is not for the purpose of presenting a unified view. Just documenting similar ideas.

  2. @taknamay @critialcloudkicker hm. they are from the same website. Contradicting views perhaps?

  3. @zine @critialcloudkicker Never read that essay, I will take a look. Here is what I mean: http://www.panarchy.org/voltairine/anarchism.html

  4. @taknamay @critialcloudkicker  A goal as in: http://www.panarchy.org/day/multigovernment.1977.html Multigovernment? No thanks. :)

  5. @zine @critialcloudkicker As I said, panarchy has nothing to do with methods. It is the goal.

  7. @taknamay @critialcloudkicker  That wouldn't be realistic though. That would just be idealizing what you want without taking steps to seperate yourself from the state or it. They would still have means to do whatever they want to you.

  8. @zine @critialcloudkicker Panarchy is not about methods, it is a goal that we seek to attain. The methods are the same as other anarchists.

  10. @zine @critialcloudkicker Under panarchy, you would say " I am no longer associated with you." and be free from their laws.

  11. @taknamay @critialcloudkicker % wolfram define locale
    Input interpretation
    locale  (English word) | definition
    Result
noun | the scene of any event or action (especially the place of a meeting)

It defines that too in the wikipedia article, but it doesn't specify a location. It literally means an event in time. ergo, If I'm a state-capitalist now, I wouldn't need to change (or move) from that later on.

  12. @zine @critialcloudkicker Reforming is working within existing institutions. Panarchy means we have no obligation to existing institutions.

  13. @zine @critialcloudkicker "without moving" is just a statement about geographical location, it is not telling you to sit down all day

  14. @taknamay @critialcloudkicker Wikipedia: "Panarchism is a political philosophy emphasizing each individual's right to freely join and leave the jurisdiction of any governments they choose" "Reformism is the belief that gradual changes through and within existing institutions can ultimately change a society's fundamental economic system and political structures. This hypothesis of social change grew out of opposition to revolutionary socialism (ergo without moving)" its practically synonymous

  17. @critialcloudkicker it is the idea that people should be able to choose any form of government without moving.

  23. @autunm @critialcloudkicker Civ 1 had a error on Ghandi. basically when you reach Democracy your aggression goes down by 2, Ghandi started with the lowest possible score of 1 (the maximum the game allowed was 10), but when Democracy happened the counter went 1->0->255, effectively looping the counter
so basically after Democracy, on a scale of 0 to 10 Ghandi was 255 of Pure Unchained NUCLEAR WRATH
