Nope, Vista says my hard drive is invalid.Only way to get it to read it is to convert it to a "basic" disk. *facedesk*

@stormstep I normally have Windows 8, but something is up with the installation and it BSODs on me. So I'm booting from my mom's old Hard Drive which has Vista on it in hopes that I can copy the Win 8 installation files onto my flash drive and then repair Windows.

@vt3c Once I find a case for it I'll check. The motherboard for sure supports at least 4. Just for some stupid reason Compaq decided to give it 3.

@vt3c No idea what type. Just going by whats on the sticker of my parent's old PC. Seeing that they have a newer faster PC now that I wish I never gave them, I want to re purpose their old one as a server.
