Sir, you are not being selfish, what you feel is what is true to you. You feel jealous but that is natural of many people to do. It does not make you a monster nor, does it degrade your status as a human being, in fact. it makes you more human. You love work, it is there for you. She is there for you sometimes, she is merely waiting for you to get out of this pile of denial about you being harmful to others. You care. You have shown that by hating the jealousy you feel, it stops you from hurting her.
