@skyllie yes. very
-
@skyllie I was actually just starting to listen to it,then my phone broke and the replacement is taking forever
-
@skyllie The lyrics were easily the best part of We Were Dead
-
@skyllie Bowie at his worst is still interesting to listen to at least. His lyrics have always been consistent.
-
@skyllie This being said, with the exception of Pin Ups I'd say every album from 1970 to 1980 is absolutely essential.
-
@skyllie understandable,as for music,FLIPPING CLASSICAL!!!!
-
@skyllie It wasn't bad but it felt incredibly alienating, and a lot of the covers on it were pretty weak in my opinion too.
-
@skyllie oohhhhh,I prefer tuna
-
@skyllie It's really not that great, honestly better that you haven't. Tonight isn't that good either.
-
@skyllie I assume when you say that we're both pretending Never Let Me Down doesn't exist.
-
@skyllie Don't forget Another Green World, Tonight's the Night, Horses, One Size Fits All, and Man-Child. Also, Young Americans isn't my favourite Bowie record but I do love it a lot. It's really damn hard to pick a favourite but currently I'd say either Low or Scary Monsters.
-
@skyllie i know i know, but that dosnt make it any less cool :c
-
@skyllie Yeah, I like Key of Life but it's far from his best, my favourite's always been Talking Book. It had his most eclectic instrumentation and songwriting.
-
@skyllie Young Americans came out in 75 though. I have that on vinyl and love it.
-
@skyllie Hotter than July is great. I'm glad you have good taste in Stevie Wonder.
-
@skyllie It was really early 76, recorded in 75 though.
-
@skyllie Also Station to Station came out in 76 Ellie, you should know better
-
@skyllie I actually own a vinyl of Talking Book
-
@skyllie The Modern Lovers was an obvious pick for me from that year
-
@skyllie same
-
@skyllie rekt
-
@skyllie It's like the Eminem conversation all over again.
-
@skyllie Wait what did I do
-
@skyllie I stand by everything I've said.
-
@skyllie With grammar like that, clearly
-
@skyllie Brian Wilson did more for pop music than Michael Jackson. Let that sink in.
-
@skyllie The Beach Boys were ahead of their time. They revolutionized music, and music production, as we know it today. All those indie pop bands you love might as well be writing Brian Wilson royalty checks every damn month because he flipped the industry on it's freakin' head. They bridged the gap between artful pop music experimentation and commercial appeal, and wrote some of the most important music of their era. They, especially later in their career, defied genre and consistently challenged their fans with innovative yet idiosyncratic ideas. Without the Beach Boys music would most definitely NOT be the same.
-
@skyllie At least we live in the same world together~
-
@skyllie Literally the worst opinion
-
@skyllie WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH HOLD THE PHONE. Are you actually implying Beach Boys are pleb?
