@leonkfox I'm agnostic myself. It feels amazing to be able to share values and morals without having to feel it's only because I have to. That's the feeling i got from most people that were religious.

@leonkfox This nostalgia tends to depress me. But i wonder, do kids even enjoy this stuff from the media that we consider garmage? I know my younger brother of 14 likes and hates the same stuff i do. I have two little cousins that liked ICarly, and I really hope it's because they thought she was hot. That show is/was horribad.

@dynamicentry I can understand where you're coming from. I haven't watched it in a couple years so I may not feel the same way about it. I did that with adventure time. I liked it at first then stopped watching it. When i watched it like a year later I couldn't watch one episode. I don't even watch TV anymore to be honest. There's nothing on that I wanna see.

@dynamicentry The only newer cartoon i've really enjoyed beyond FiM has been flapjack so far. They did make a looney tunes show apparently but it's nowhere near the originals.

@leonkfox If we still had great cartoonist like her working today, tv wouldn't be so unbearable. I wonder if she's moving on to anything else or just taking it easy now?

@leonkfox I'm really not one for the merch, although I would love to have at least a couple show accurate ponies sitting in my room. Preferably Twilight and Fluttershy. I wouldn't go get, let's say, the canterlot play set or the bed spreads. A little overkill for me.

@nightlight MLP has done wonders! I would say if it wasn't for Lauren Faust it wouldn't have been even close to what it is now. We all just wanted something good to come on television and she answered at a different angle.

@abigpony Oh i don't trust me. It's a cartoon, so the genre alone usually doesn't associate with being serious as is. That's why i looooove cartoons over anything else! MLP:FiM happens to be one i enjoy quite a bit =]
