@wollffey Apologies, wollffey. I didn't mean for that statement to apply to the whole fandom. What I meant was that I don't know where people in the fandom go to talk, because the places I tried (ponychan and Equestria Daily) I was ignored due to all the other fast-paced conversations going on. But it did sound like I was insulting the fandom, and I'm very sorry for that. I did check bronies.com, but the closest groups to me are still too far for me to attend, so what I'm trying to figure out is how to start at the very beginning with a local group.

@starshine I've read a couple. I know there are a number of different options. I guess I should just try to get word out that I'm considering one, and see how many people are interested before trying to pick a place.

@tenure Therein lies the problem, because I don't know what a suitable venue would be. I've been trying to ask people what they've seen people do at meetups, but no luck.

I can't figure out where in this fandom to go to ask questions that aren't immediately shouted down by randomness. How do brony meetups work? I want to meet bronies. I want to organize a meetup. But the only things I hear anywhere are just "To the moon!" and "lol derpy".

@colfax I'm slowly infiltrating other areas of the MLP fandom, since I've been kind of hanging out on the peripheral edges so far. Glad you were able to use the game!
