!yorkshirebronies @klayking I emailed the cinema in York, and got this back: Hi Matt, Yes, it’s possible to download a digital film onto our servers and show it. Or run it from a laptop. Or… DVD is okay, Blu-ray better quality. Are you the owner of this film? Otherwise, we’d need to see proof that you had the rights to show it. How long is it? Is there a speaker introduction? Is this a public showing you require (how many attendees expected), or a closed show just for a few friends? When do you want to show it? Daytime, evening, weekday, weekend? The last three sets of questions tend to impact greatly on the cost of showing a film in any of our auditoria. It can be fairly expensive, but let me know the answers and I’ll let you know. - Dave.

@klayking !yorkshirebronies If we're willing to pay, we can hire a screen at City Screen Picturehouse in York (which are pretty darn big). I have no idea how much they cost though, I think you have to email them to find out, but I can shoot them an email if we're interested.
