http://www.artemis.eochu.com/Artemis is a spaceship bridge game that you play by networking computers together, preferably via LAN. Basically it's the Star Trek version of LARP except more awesome. Everyone get yourselves a local group and play it some time. It's awesome.

I drove the UES What Pumpkin into a minefield and died in the first five minutes. :( But then I respawned and actually did some killing. !artemis

@erak43 The group I play it with compares it to FTL a lot. I guess it's similar to FTL? But instead of one player running a whole spaceship you have a person at each station.

!artemis We ran a 47-minute round that ended with probably a 15-minute standoff between us and an entire fleet of large ships. We kept charging through planting mines because we ran out of everything else and we only had one station still alive. Eventually we ran into a mine and died. :(
