!yorkshire @klayking maybe @frostyhooves should enter the RDN draw off with another lovely image like that one? =D
-
!yorkshirebronies @klayking huzzah! If I remember rightly we only had two or three no-shows last time, so hopefully we'll beat our numbers no problem
-
@klayking Awesome! That shall certainly bring some amusement!
-
@klayking The fun has been doubled!
-
@klayking Like i said, We've been requesting it for days!
-
@klayking great! I suppose we're the first 2 there then... shame im getting the train up alone this time.....
-
@klayking Flutterbuscus... turns out he lives 2 streets over from me :D Very unexpected right there
-
@klayking Ahhh sadface, too far, I'm currently a south-western brony, hopefully I'll be moving soon and maybe that will be more in reach

@purplephish20 meeting 11am at the train station, grab a cheap bite to eat, raid places for merch (i believe @klayking has found a forbidden planet that sells pony stuff) then we're floating until the bar opens. I would like to have the quiz fairly early on, so that will likely be right after the Pony hunt. We will probably head back to that same square where we took the group photos last time. The quiz will happen, then the blind bag white elephant at some point, then the rest of the time will be spent just socialising. People are bringing handheld consoles and cardja games and such. Then if you're still around for 7ish the room above the pub will be open and there will be drinking and more socialising. that's about it to my knowledge

!yorkshirebronies We now have quiz prizes and blind bags for a game of white elephant, any blindbags that aren't used for the game will be available to be bought if anyone feels like picking up a few extra. Bear in mind though that for the purposes of the game I will be REMOVING THE SERIAL NUMBERS (dun dun dun!) so it'll have to be a surprise for you. @klayking if we end up with more than 30 confirmations you'll have to let me know so I can buy another load of blindbags before saturday

!yorkshirebronies @klayking its £7.90 for a return, another brony in harrogate?! this is news to me! Who could it be i wonder? :D And the bits is the mane issue... i dont even think ill be able to get £10... unless i come up with some dastardly bits making scheme i can pull off within 8 days... i doubt it.

!yorkshirebronies @Klayking the only thing which concerns me about this meet is that in his post on UKofE regarding the subject of the room at Strawbs, @pominator said they were open from 7 *PM* - which is entirely no good for a day meet unless we have a special arrangement outside of the usual hours. I emailed him about it several days ago to no response.

@klayking Euhm..... I'm mentioned in this post but have no idea what it's all about. Can you please give me some explanation? Thanks
-
!yorkshirebronies @klayking Sorry, but I cannot make it the 31st of March. One of my orchestra members moved heaven and earth to get me a discount on participating in a Cello Day here in Sheffield. Hopefully Octavia will give a workshop too. Anyway, have fun in Leeds :-)
-
@klayking wait...... will mcdonalds have ponies at the time of the meet? if so.... we must clear them out!
-
@klayking sheesh... well Ive never used a coach in my life so i dont know... it cost about 15 quid for 2 ticket which got me to leeds, a return to sheffield and a return to leeds from sheffield
-
@klayking I will do the best I can... FOR BLADEHENGE! AND FOR ITS METALLLLLLLL!!!!!!
-
!yorkshirebronies @klayking cheers :) just the cheapest i can find around here in harrogate is in argos... and they are £6 for the cheapest
-
!yorkshirebronies @undeadtaz I have six days until my next day at work, plenty of time to re-watch the series with questions in mind.. my parents will probably tell me I should put this much effort into my Uni work... they are kind of right. @klayking if you want to lend your knowledge it would be appreciated. I was considering making it a team thing, though that does mean more prizes. I have been trying to think up some really tricky questions to stump even the most dedicated of Bronies... we'll see how well that turns out
-
@klayking !yorkshirebronies Well, I should be revising for college, but I'll most likely be revising now for this quiz xD
-
@klayking i would advise you make it as hard as possible, I remember sheffield was a good quiz, pawnheart made it I think.... Good luck!
-
!yorkshirebronies It's a little funny that I made a comment about getting Greggs last meetup, and this time it's being suggested in al seriousness. But then I suppose if there are so many in Leeds it would make sense. @zeifarrei are you confirming your attendance or that you would like to take part in something? I believe @klayking is taking the confirmations via e-mail. The last train back for me doesn't leave until almost 9pm, so I can hang around for a good while after the 'official' finishing time.
-
!yorkshirebronies @klayking alrighty, I'll start thinking up stuff for a quiz, if anyone wants to help let me know, it does mean you won't be able to take part though. I'll see if I can find some appropriate pony merch to give out as prizes, I'll be making a run to morrisons and asda at some point in the near future to buy up a load of blindbags. I don't suppose I'll be able to get an accurate idea of how many are going to be attending just yet will I?
-
!yorkshirebronies @klayking ok, so update on the game, apparently it's called white elephant, and each person takes a turn where they can either open a gift (or, in this case, a blind bag) or steal an already opened one from someone else, who can then either open a new one or steal. there are more rules that could be explained on the day but that's the basic gist of it. And if everyone is happy with a quiz I would be happy to put one together, if anyone else would like to help (you wouldn't be able to take part) then you could let me know
-
@klayking You got a Heartstrings? Man... i got a wave of blindbags in rotherham morrisons the other day.... no lyra.... pic related, my full collection http://ur1.ca/8nf8f

!yorkshirebronies @klayking well it wouldn't be hard for people to prepare things that can be done for little to no cost. I've heard a few other meetups including a quiz or something. That could be done pretty easily. I've heard of a gift giving game that could be easily done with blindbags if I can get the rules from the people I know who have actually played it, that would be as expensive as a blind bag per person, which I've already stated I can cover. would anyone be against this kind of thing? We wouldn't really need anywhere formal to do it either, just somewhere with a bit of space, like that square where we took pictures last time.
