@renovatedkitchen take em. From what I understand the same painkiller that works to kill headaches also helps with sore throats. Won't kill it completely, but it will stop it hurting constantly... My mom taught me more than any teenager should know about medicine. :P

@renovatedkitchen no prob. Cold FX also works, but that's expensive. And better taken before symptoms set in anyway. Advil is best option. The green extra strength liquid gels, to be precise.

@renovatedkitchen meh. Its fine. Usually she has some way to ease any pain I'm having before I go to school. For example, I think Advil works good for site throats. She's given me that for them.
