@purplephish20 Well, I don't know that many people here at university: doing a PhD is a lonely existence. What do we need the base for? If it is accommodation, then over the summer you might want to try your luck with the Accommodation Services (http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/accommodation). If it is for having a room to watch episodes... Perhaps http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/acs is an option. I do know Sheffield University has its own Anime Society (http://sheffield.ac.uk/union/get-involved/societies/anime-sheffield) and they often have Screenings. I happen to meet one of their members regularly on the bus coming back from orchestra, so I might get some info. When can we expect the lot of you invading Sheffield? Finally, I don't know anybody at Sheffield Hallam (www.shu.ac.uk), but it's an option when Sheffield University is unavailable.
