@misterjaybrown So was Hephaestus. When he was born, he was so ugly that his own mom threw him off mount olympus, and when he came back his dad kicked him off the mountain. He got to marry the most beautiful of all goddesses, Aphrodite, but she ended up cheating on him. Every major greek god is depicted as being exceedingly handsome (Apollo, Hermes, Ares, etc), except for Hephaestus who is depicted as being horrid. The only thing he didn't fail at was making and creating things (weapons,thrones, jewlery), but even then, few people think of him and his legacy when thinking of Greek Mythology.
